My Daughter’s First Birthday Invitation
For my daughter’s first birthday, I designed her invitation using custom letterforms and Akzidenz Grotesk. Letterpress printed on #130 wool paper with PMS 1797 by Jonathan at Running Doves Press in Wichita, Kansas. Above is a photo of the 6″x9″ invitation on press.

A Small Gesture—
I’m still reeling from the unbelievable decision of the Supreme Court of the United States to not stop the execution of Troy Davis last night in Georgia. So as a small gesture of anger, I designed this poster today.
Medical Anthropology Site Re-design
I’m currently working on a re-design of UNC’s Medical Anthropology department website. (I designed the previous site in mid-2009.) I will also be developing it using WordPress as the CMS, in order for the department to be able to easily update information on the site more often. Stay tuned for previews.
The Here and Now—
I finally got around to updating the news section of my site… and decided to just get rid of the old posts (except for some old ones with poems… yeah, that’s right).
